My Blend – aromatherapy oil for happiness & wellbeing
My Blend aromatherapy oil… I am so excited to share it with you all!
During the Covid19 lockdown, I was studying with Aromaflex Academy for my certificate in Aroma science. At that time, at about week 4, I felt down – anxious – and slightly depressed with it all. (along with many other New Zealanders, I am sure). As I was studying and being a mum at home with three kids, I needed to be on top of my game, but I struggled.
Out of desperation, I started researching ALL antidepressant essential oils – referencing studies to back the claims and piecing together a very effective blend… I created my blend for happiness! So it is now aptly named ‘My Blend’.
It smells happy – uplifting – bright, but with soulful undertones. My blend is a unique smelling blend.
Essential oils enter your body for emotional needs fastest by inhalation – that is why when you use this oil, you apply it to your skin in areas that you will smell. And make sure to take long, slow inhalations of the aroma from your skin or straight from the bottle!
Do not use
- On blood-thinning medication and check oils against any anti-depressant and contraceptive pills (grapefruit oil).
- Do not use if pregnant, under 10yrs, or using homeopathic remedies.
- A couple of oils are phototoxic, so do not sunbathe straight after using oil.
- Cover with sunblock.
Apply My Blend – aromatherapy oil to your wrists – chest – and temples. Use in the bath or as your new perfume/body moisturising oil or massage oil. -skin patch test first if you have sensitive skin.
Do not use this pre-blended oil in your oil burner – it is not a straight essential oil mix.
