Mindful skincare

Mindful Skincare is what I practice, when I’m conjuring and researching, foraging and mixing, bottling and batching. I think about where these beauties will end up and it makes me smile. I think about my range caring not just for your skin but what’s under it, what powers it, what strengthens and illuminates it. I literally put my heart and soul into the process and think about the positive outcomes, the mental health and wellbeing of the user, of mine while I’m making it and the thought of you feeling cherished and nourished as a result. These things make ME feel good – it’s the circle ya’ll.

Our skin is the first thing we see and the first thing we touch. It’s so individual for each person and a real tell all.  If you’re hydrated and rested your skin glows, if you give it some love and energy it shines but when you’re tired and not drinking enough water or showing it some care it may sag and suffer.

What I put into my skincare range is done mindfully, from sourcing ingredients to the bottle, the packaging, delivery and use, focusing my positive energy to every part of the journey from nature to skin. You can actually order a sampler box of my mindful skincare range by the way.

A big driver for me is knowing that I’m helping you feel good and enjoying the fruits of my work and love, that you can harness the benefit of this ‘additional ingredient’ when you use my products. On an instinctive level I feel my positivity towards the entire process is just as much a part of the end product as the petals, oils and tangible natural ingredients. I wrote recently on my face book page about how we ARE energy. It’s a thing!

Nature heals, soothes, restores, mindfully connects, it’s long been proven through many scientific studies and intrinsically known and used throughout cultures for thousands of years.  Here is a great article from Time Magazine about a Japanese scientific study on the healing power of nature and another on Ecopsychology from Yale University which found that “Nature is not only nice to have, but it’s a have-to-have for physical health and cognitive function.”

This is pretty cool too, research about how everything on earth, down to the teeny tiniest object on earth ‘vibrates’ at a certain level … The science of “vibes” (the hippies were right man!).

Bring on the good vibes I say – Its all about mindful skincare!

Much Love.
